Ile de France, one of the 13 regions in mainland France, is the political, economic and cultural center of France, encompassing the city of Paris and surrounding 7 provinces. Ile de France is the largest economic region in Europe and is one of Europe’s most important scientific and technological research and development centers, home to a large number of multinational enterprises, small and medium-sized enterprises and industrial incubators.

Zhejiang and Ile de France started exchanges in 2017, and signed a cooperation agreement in June 2018.
