The emblem of the 19th Asian Games Hangzhou 2022 is named "Tides Surging". The main figure of the emblem is composed of six elements: fan, Qiantang River, Qianjiang tide, the competition's track, the symbol of the Internet and the sun figure symbolising the Olympic Council of Asia. Below is the seal of the host city's name and the year of holding, which constitute the complete emblem of the Hangzhou Asian Games together.

The mascots of the 19th Asian Games Hangzhou 2022 are a group of robots proclaiming the host city's profound heritage and contemporary vibrancy. The combination-Memories of Jiangnan-derives its name from a poem by Bai Juyi. This great poet of the Tang Dynasty wrote, "When I recall Jiangnan, Hangzhou brings back most of my memories." The name itself speaks volumes about Hangzhou's heritage, scenic splendor and drive for innovation. 

杭州亚运会吉祥物是一组承载深厚底蕴和充满时代活力的机器人，组合名为“江南忆”，出自唐朝诗人白居易的名句“江南忆，最忆是杭州”，它融合了杭州的历史人文、自然生态和创新基因。

Congcong

琮 琮

The robot Congcong represents the Archaeological Ruins of Liangzhu City, which is also inscribed on the World Heritage list. It derives its name from the Cong jade pendant-the quintessential relic unearthed from the Ruins. Exuding the eternal charm, this Cong jade pendant of exquisitely carved patterns is synonymous with the Liangzhu culture. 

“琮琮”以机器人的造型代表世界遗产良渚古城遗址，名字源于良渚古城遗址出土的代表性文物玉琮。具有精美绝伦纹饰的玉琮是良渚文化的重要标志物，散发着永恒的魅力。 

Congcong is proof of the 5,000-year Chinese civilisation. It takes yellow, the colour of earth and bumper harvest, as the main tone. As the quintessential symbol of the Liangzhu culture, the mythical beast facial patterns on its head speak for indomitable courage and self-transcendence. 

“琮琮”实证了中华五千多年文明史，全身以源自大地、象征丰收的黄色为主色调，头部装饰的纹样取自良渚文化的标志性符号“饕餮纹”，意寓“不畏艰险、超越自我”。 

Lianlian

莲 莲

The robot Lianlian represents the West Lake, another World Heritage site. It derives its name from the lakeful of lush lotus leaves. The Chinese people love lotus leaves because they are associated with purity, nobleness and peace.  

“莲莲”以机器人的造型代表世界遗产西湖，名字源于西湖中无穷碧色的接天莲叶。莲叶以其纯洁、高贵、祥和的姿容为人们所喜爱。

Lianlian is graceful and light-gaited, as seen ambling amid the lake's misty willows, exquisite bridges and lush lotus leaves. It takes green, the colour of life and nature, as its main tone. Its lotus leaf-shaped headpiece is distinctively decorated with the Three Pools Mirroring the Moon, a scenic view of the West Lake, and the icon of Internet.  

“莲莲” 从西湖的烟柳画桥、十里荷花深处走来，身姿轻盈、体态优美，全身覆盖清新自然的绿色。莲叶头饰以三潭印月为顶，以互联网为径，特色鲜明。

Chenchen

宸 宸

The robot Chenchen represents the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal, which is inscribed on the World Heritage list. It derives its name from the Gongchen Bridge-a landmark structure in the Hangzhou section of the Grand Canal. The bridge, with a history of over 400 years, bears beautiful memories for many generations.

“宸宸”以机器人的造型代表世界遗产京杭大运河，名字源于京杭大运河杭州段的标志性建筑拱宸桥。有着400多年历史的拱宸桥承载着一代又一代人的美好记忆。

Chenchen joins together the Grand Canal, the Qiantang River and the world beyond the sea. It takes blue, the colour of science and technology, as the main tone. It has the Qiantang River's tide atop its head and the Gongchen Bridge on the forehead, only leaving endless room for imagination.  

“宸宸”从大运河走来，游向钱塘江，游向世界。全身以科技蓝为主色调，头顶举世罕见的钱江潮，额头嵌以拱宸桥的图案，给人以无穷的想象。

Torch of Asian Games Hangzhou 2022

The torch of the 19th Asian Games Hangzhou 2022 is named "Eternal Flame". The design was inspired by the Liangzhu Culture that is testament to the 5000-year-old Chinese civilization. Apart from the majestic shape with profound implications, the torch also presents to the world the unique creativity of Chinese design and its manufacture prowess.

杭州2022年第19届亚运会火炬设计方案名为“薪火”，设计思想源自实证中华五千年文明史的良渚文化，以其庄重大气、意蕴深远的造型，通过火炬手们的手手相传，向世界展现中国设计的独特创意、中国制造的硬核力量。

The torch is shaped in a way that "grows" from bottom to top, with an overall height of 730 millimetres and a net weight of 1,200 grams. The base of torch is embossed with eight water veins symbolising the evolution of civilisation and representing the eight major river systems in Zhejiang. The torch body is designed based on the evolution from dermatoglyphic fingerprint patterns specific to the Liangzhu Culture, which are naturally intertwined and exquisite. The torch head is characterized by the meaning of Jade Cong, one of the ritual jades, showing a harmonious square-round integration; and the burner nozzle is designed from the earliest oracle bone inscription of "琮" (literally Jade Cong) with the implied meaning of "light traveling in cycle inside". In the big picture, the profile curve is like firewood in hand, a combination of motion and quietness that gives people infinite reveries of the past, the present and the future.

火炬造型自下而上“生长”，整体高730毫米，净重1200克。炬基，以八条水脉为文明之脉，代表浙江八大水系；炬身，以良渚螺旋纹为演化，形似指纹，自然交织，精致细密；炬冠，以玉琮语意为特征，方圆相融，昂然而立；出火口设计源自“琮”最早的甲骨文字形，寓意“光在内周而复始”；整体轮廓曲线犹如手握薪柴，在动静之中迸发出由外向融合的运动员力量感和汇聚态势。
