Foreign Ministry Organizes a Visit to Zhejiang for Diplomatic Envoys to China
Coinciding the 20th anniversary of the concept that “lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets”, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs invited foreign diplomatic envoys to Zhejiang Province for a five-day visit from October 14 to 18. The delegation, which included 22 diplomats and representatives from 19 countries and international organizations, such as Serbia, Pakistan, Thailand, Cyprus, Côte d’Ivoire, Japan, and the United Kingdom, toured the province to witness firsthand its achievements in high-quality development .

The delegation visited Hangzhou, Shaoxing, and Ningbo in Zhejiang. At Waitongwu Village, the Eastern Zhejiang Canal Museum, Huangjiu (Yellow Rice Wine) Town, and Wandi Village, they experienced China’s impressive achievements in beautiful countryside, cultural exchanges, and the integrated development of certain industries with tourism. They also had a glimpse of Zhejiang’s modern vibrancy in digital economy, technological innovation, advanced manufacturing, industrial upgrade, and talent cultivation after their visits to the Hangzhou City Operations Command Center, Alibaba Group, Geely Auto Factory, China Textile City, Westlake University, and the Ningbo-Zhoushan Port.
